The Butterfly Compass
This is a design of a butterfly inside a compass that's going to be placed on the lower back. I love the idea because of how simple it is, and it's not trying to be over the top. I love how the client wanted to incorporate this South American butterfly as the focal point because it gave me the freedom to apply beautiful colors, allowing the butterfly to pop out. On the final stage of the tattoo I decided to add glass glare to give the illusion that it is inside the compass.
